Republican Rep. Mike Lawler of New York recently appeared on CNN during the panel show that’s moderated by Abby Phillip. This is the show that Scott Jennings usually appears on. At one point, Lawler points out that Democrats show more support to people like Mahmoud Khalil of Columbia University than they do to crime victims in New York City, or Jewish students being harassed on college campuses. He says that average Americans see this and think Democrats are out of their minds. Lawler is right, of course, but his comments set off a firestorm among the other panelists on the show.
