It started off as an early morning drive with the family and out-of-town relatives to see the Cherry Blossoms in Washington, D.C.  They were beautiful and lovely.  The Tidal Basin at the Jefferson Memorial is undergoing a massive reconstruction of the dilapidated, 100-year-old+ Seawall.  The construction crews were working diligently with American Flags everywhere – a wonderful sight at the beginning of America’s Golden Age.
