The President is hosting mining company executives in the East Room of the White House as he signs the order. Executives from Peabody Energy Corp., Core Natural Resources Inc., and Ramaco Resources are reportedly in attendance. The executive order will “unleash the might of our beautiful clean coal industry in this country, which is a reliable energy source also for AI,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said during a press briefing earlier.
