Khalil, who will soon be deported from the U.S. over his role organizing the anti-Israel protests at Columbia University, wrote in a Washington Post op-ed that his experiences were reminiscient of the experiences described by Viktor Frankl in his Holocaust memoir Man’s Search for Meaning. He wrote: It’s 3 a.m., as I lie sleepless on a bunk bed in Jena, Louisiana, far from my wife, Noor, who will give birth to our baby in two weeks.
