Texas DPS earlier this week was on a high-speed chase pursuing a smuggler of an illegal alien in Webb County. The smuggler named Alexander Velma who was from Laredo, was driving a red Dodge Ram and tried to outrun the DPS. Velma eventually crashed and was arrested. DPS found one illegal alien in the bed of the truck. The illegal alien was handed over to the Border Patrol.
