Democrat so called lawmakers, including Reps. Robert Garcia, Maxwell Frost, Yassamin Ansari, and Maxine Dexter, jetted off to El Salvador to demand the release of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, despite confirmations of his MS-13 gang affiliation, alleged wife beating and suspected human trafficking, only to be denied a meeting and left shouting into the void for “daily proof of life.” They are attempting to frame this as a constitutional crisis, but it’s hard to take seriously when they themselves have a track record of dismissing the constitution. Their demands got them nowhere, as Salvadoran officials ghosted their requests, leaving them to record horribly filmed statements from their phones looking useless.
