President Trump on Saturday, following his meeting in Rome with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, issued a scathing response to far-left New York Times author Peter Liddle, who wrote a piece attacking Trump and inferring that he’s shilling for Putin. Trump also threatened Russian President Vladimir Putin with sanctions over a recent missile strike, which he has already rebuked Putin for. The President reiterated his criticisms, stating, “There was no reason for Putin to be shooting missiles into civilian areas, cities and towns, over the last few days.
