Under the Trump administration, the NIH, now led by Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, has ended cruel medical experimentation on beagles. PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is a largely progressive organization, but this move by the Trump administration is something that they cannot deny that they fully support.
