Disabled protester arrested for obstructing House Energy and Commerce hearing A protester in a wheelchair was seen screaming as Capitol Police rolled her out of the Rayburn House Office building and arrested her for obstructing a House Energy and Commerce Committee markup on Congressional Republicans’ Trump-backed “Big Beautiful Bill.” It is currently unclear if her outbursts occurred in the hearing room or in the hallway outside. As The Gateway Pundit reported, at least 25 protesters were arrested after mentally and physically disabled activists stormed the committee hearing.
