According to an analysis from The New York Post, this rise is more than twice the overall increase across New York City, which stood at 30 percent during the same time period. The report highlights that the 110th Precinct in Queens, which includes parts of Roosevelt Avenue notorious for prostitution and human trafficking, experienced a staggering 105 percent rise in major crimes, the largest uptick of any precinct citywide since 2019.
