An investigation is underway after the Historic Nottoway Plantation in Louisiana, the largest antebellum mansion in the U.S., burned to the ground on Thursday. Firefighters battled the blaze for over 18 hours. The plantation has been the subject of leftist complaints in recent years for “romanticizing” the antebellum South and not doing enough to call attention to the slavery involved in its construction. Leftists even took to social media to celebrate the destruction. The Nottoway plantation, the largest Antebellum plantation has burnt to the ground. The fire was righteous and cleansing.
