Kevin Spacey Nearly eight years after the outbreak of the #MeToo era, it appears the actor Kevin Spacey has finally been uncancelled. Spacey will be honored at Better World Fund’s 10th anniversary gala dinner at Cannes’ Carlton Hotel, where he will receive an award celebrating his contributions to film and television. He is also in town to promote his latest project, The Awakening, and is seeking distribution deals during the festival. According to the Better World Fund, the award acknowledges both his “artistic achievements over decades” and his “lasting influence on cinema and the arts.” The Awakening is being showcased at the Marché du Film, the festival’s official industry market located beneath the Palais des Festivals.
