Harmeet Dhillon, who is now the United States Assistant Attorney General under Trump, and runs the civil rights division, just did an interview with Tucker Carlson that is at times fascinating and outrageous. Dhillon tells Carlson that the civil rights division of DOJ is famously liberal and that when she made it clear that they were going to adjust the division to align with the Trump presidency, that hundreds of lawyers quit. The ones who stuck around, actually held ‘crying sessions’ to express their unhappiness over the new reality. It’s like they are a bunch of liberal college students who created a safe space.
