Former Department of Government Efficiency head and Trump adviser Elon Musk slammed President Trump’s “ingratitude” after the President expressed disappointment in the former ally on Thursday. As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump signaled the end of his friendship with Elon Musk in response to Musk’s thrashing of the Big Beautiful Act and its spending levels. “Look, Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore,” he told reporters in the Oval Office. “I’m very disappointed because Elon knew the inner workings of this bill better than almost anybody sitting here,” he said, adding that Musk was mad solely because the bill cuts Biden-era electric vehicle mandates.
