The ABC News show ‘The View’ is an abomination to American television. During the broadcast today, co-host Whoopi Goldberg suggested that black people living in the United States are as oppressed as people living in Iran, where women have to submit to dress codes, and being gay is punishable by death. Her comments came during a loud and incredibly stupid discussion about American foreign policy with regards to what’s currently unfolding in Iran.
