The high-profile, high-stakes sex-trafficking trial is drawing to a close, as the prosecution is expected to rest their case next Monday, and the defense has stated that it’ll need as little as two days to present their case – a potential sign that they’re confident of his acquittal. But there may still be some bumps in the road ahead before the jury can sit and deliberate. One juror has been dismissed due to concerns about his candor, suspected of lying to get in the panel. And there’s a second juror that the judge flagged potential misconduct, suspected of improperly discussing the case with a former colleague.
