As a Christian rooted in rural Missouri, I’ve valued the MAGA movement’s promise to champion faith, family, and freedom. Yet, its leading voices—Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, Steve Bannon, and Marjorie Taylor Greene—have embraced MAGA unbiblical rhetoric that contradicts scripture and sows division. Their recent statements, particularly on U.S.-Israel relations, reveal a pattern of exploiting faith for clicks, subscriptions, and fame, often flirting with antisemitic tropes. For Christians drawn to MAGA’s conservative ideals, it’s time to exercise discernment (1 John 4:1) and ask whether these leaders align with our faith. While their followers include well-meaning believers, their unbiblical rhetoric demands we reconsider their influence and, if necessary, distance ourselves from a movement prioritizing grift over gospel.

The Unbiblical Rhetoric of MAGA Leaders

Scripture calls Christians to love, truth, and humility (John 13:34–35, Ephesians 4:15). Yet, the MAGA unbiblical rhetoric of Owens, Carlson, Bannon, and Greene distorts faith. Candace Owens has framed her anti-Israel stance in ways that twist theology. In a post on X, she claimed:

They tried to redefine antisemitism, criminalize criticism of Israel on college campuses, and most crucially, seed the idea that the declaration of Christ as our King amounted to hatred against Jews.
