Democrats are getting nervous about how the views and policies of the socialist NYC Mayoral candidate, Zohran Mamdani, may further expose their own radical plans. And they want him to tone it down. On Thursday, during a heated exchange with WNYC radio host Brian Lehrer, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) called on Mamdani to unequivocally denounce the phrase “globalize the Intifada.” Gillibrand argued that the phrase is received by the public (correctly) as a call to “slaughter the Jews.” A caller to the show accused Mamdani of glorifying Hamas and supporting the violent attacks associated with the intifada terrorism campaign Israel faced in the 1990s.
