In a post on Instagram, Kimmel lashed out at the company for axing the show, despite it losing huge amounts of money. “Love you, Stephen. Fuck you and all your Sheldons CBS.” According to a report from Puck News, the decision to cancel Colbert’s show was taken because it was costing Paramount $40 million a year. The total production cost runs at over $100 million.
