A female Uber driver was shot multiple times after she picked up two passengers last week in Akron, Ohio. According to reports, the 39-year-old Uber driver picked up two male passengers at around 9:30 pm on Thursday when one of them opened fire on her. The victim was shot in the abdomen and arm a total of 6 times and miraculously survived. Akron police do not believe this was a botched robbery and are still investigating a possible motive. Police are still looking for the assailants. No description of the suspects was provided. Uber said it banned the passenger from using the rideshare company.
