Celebrity chef Anne Burrell passed away suddenly at 55 in her Brooklyn home last month. The sudden death of the Food Network’s star stunned friends, co-workers and fans. Burrell found love later in life and recently got married. She appeared to be in “high spirits” according to close friends. However, according to a fellow celebrity chef, Anne Burrell also privately struggled. On Thursday, it was revealed Anne Burrell committed suicide. “The NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner says the official manner of death was suicide and the cause of death was “acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine.”” TMZ reported.
