Lloyd Judd Jr., known by many as “LJ” or “Pap,” was born in Lexington, Missouri, the son of Mary (Helm) Judd and Lloyd Judd Sr.

He graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, Missouri in 1974. Lloyd started his construction career as a heavy equipment operator in Richmond, Missouri, working for Bersano Construction Company. From there, he went to work for Havens Construction in Liberty, Missouri, retiring in 2020 after 30 years of dedication to the company. He enjoyed woodworking, boating, camping, fishing, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. In August of 1997, Lloyd’s world changed with just one kiss on the swinging bridge in Warsaw, Missouri. In January 2002, Lloyd married his lifelong friend, Jamie (Bryan) Judd. With that union, he inherited two daughters that he loved as his own.

Lloyd was a friend to everyone he met. He had a kind, giving heart and always had a smile on his face. He was very involved in the lives of his kids, and granddaughters, whether it was cheering them on during sporting events, attending school activities, fixing/building anything you can imagine, or just spending time with them. He was affectionately known, by many from North to South of Highway 13 as “Pap.”

Lloyd Jr. passed comfortably in his home surrounded by his family on July 24, 2025, at the age of 69.

He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Judd Sr.

Survivors include his wife Jamie Judd of Clinton; daughter Tyna Morrison (Matt), and granddaughters (Taylor, Tylee, Tenley) of Kidder, Missouri; daughter Amie Hicks (Ryan) and granddaughter (Hollis Mae and one on the way) of Republic, Missouri; his mother Mary Judd of Keaau, Hawaii; his brother Joey Judd (Chris) and their daughter (Hannah) of Shawnee Mission, Kansas; his sister Brenda Ho (Clyde) and their daughters (Shanna and Kanoe) of Keaau, Hawaii.

Due to Lloyd’s love of animals and children, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Zoe’s Home, 1267 East Highway 7, Clinton, MO 64735, or the Clinton Animal Shelter, 1307 North Washington Street, Clinton, MO 64735.
