James Robert Trevitt, 84 of Malta Bend, Missouri, passed away, August 3, 2025 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
He was born August 16, 1940, in Bogard, Missouri, son of Yancy and Mary (Harrielson) Trevitt. On February 2, 1960, in Carrollton, Missouri; he married Jane Ellen Agee, who survives of the home.
Jim was a graduate of the Bogard High School in 1958. He was a United States Navy Veteran He owned and operated a service station for many years and worked for many years as a delivery man for MFA in Carrollton, Bosworth, and Ludlow.
Survivors include his wife Jane Ellen Trevitt, of the home, two sons, Clint Trevitt and wife Lisa and Chad Trevitt, five grandchildren, Josh Trevitt, Zach Trevitt, Ryker Trevitt Olivia Adams, and Julia Schlesener and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August, 10, 2025 at the BTC Bank in Carrollton, Missouri.
Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ryker Trevitt, Brady Schlesener, Ryan Adams, Ralph Varner, David Maasdam and Jeff Wheeler.
