An active shooter opened fire at Fort Stewart in Georgia on Wednesday morning. The shooter is reportedly a male soldier. As of now there are no fatalities. Five soldiers have been taken to a hospital. Their conditions are not known. One suspect has been identified but law enforcement has not released a name, WTOC reported. The army base, home to the 3rd Infantry Division, is on lockdown. “Fort Stewart is in a lockdown status due to an active shooter incident in the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team area.
