Ronnie E. Morgan, 79, of Carrollton, Missouri formerly of Bosworth, Missouri passed away at home on August 7, 2025. Ronnie was born December 13, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri to Daniel and Ina (Porter) Morgan. Ronnie proudly and honorably served his country in the Marine Corps from 1963 to 1967.He was married to Christine Roney on December 17, 1977
Ronnie is preceded in death by his mother, Ina, fathers Daniel and Paul Merrill, a son Danny and a granddaughter Shay.
He is survived by wife Christine, of the home, brother Paul (Tina) Merrill, of Sweet Springs, Missouri, son Rodney (Becky) Morgan of Carrollton, Missouri, daughters Pearl Graf of Carrollton, Missouri and Billie Gray of Bosworth, Missouri, daughter in law Alice Morgan of Chillicothe, Missouri, grandchildren; Darren, Kenneth, Kaine, Lacyee, Kiara, Sabel, Alexis, Vanessa and Alexa, great-grandchildren; Tyler, Willow and Kinzie.
Ronnie worked road construction and drove a truck his entire life, he loved children, he believed in taking time to smell the flowers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to ‘work’ at the casino, he would tell you it was a hard job, however, he knew when to hold them and when to walk away.
A visitation is planned for 1:30-2:30 pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at La Bella Hall 5 South Main, Carrollton, MO 64633 (located on the northeast corner of the square in Carrollton), followed by a funeral service at 2:30, then interment at Van Horn Cemetery north of Carrollton, with Military Honors rendered.
