Attorney General Ken Paxton has stated that he will “hopefully” put the Democrat lawmakers who fled the state to avoid redistricting in jail. Dozens of liberal lawmakers have left the state in an attempt to sabotage a legitimate Republican effort to redraw congressional districts ahead of the 2026 midterms.
