Located just a quarter mile outside Salisbury on Highway PP, Salisbury Meat Market and Processing has been serving Mid-Missouri for over 43 years. This family-owned and operated business combines traditional craftsmanship with modern services, offering custom meat processing and a well-stocked retail shop full of quality cuts.
Custom Processing and Specialty Products
Salisbury Meat Market specializes in custom processing for beef, hogs, and specialty products by request. Their retail shop features a variety of top-choice meats, including their famous smoked pork chops and other delicious specialty items you won’t find anywhere else.
A Legacy of Growth and Family Commitment
The business was originally established by Bill and Carol Marek, who purchased it from William Lentz (formerly Lentz Meat Market). After gaining experience in Kansas City’s meat industry, Bill returned home to run the business alongside Carol. Over the years, their son Darin Marek and son-in-law Brent Fuemmeler joined the team, eventually purchasing the business in 2014. Today, Darin and Brent continue the family tradition, supported by a talented crew of friends and family members.
