Boone County consistently reported the highest volume of activity, but neighboring counties such as Chariton, Linn, Macon, Randolph, Howard, Saline, Carroll, and Livingston also saw a variety of incidents requiring law enforcement intervention. Chariton County
Chariton County law enforcement arrested Donnie R. Robinson, 53, of Kansas City, on August 15 for driving while intoxicated. He was held at the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department for 24 hours before being released.
Linn County
In Linn County, Sandra L. Parr, 62, of Marceline, faced charges on August 10 for driving while intoxicated and failing to maintain the right half of the roadway. She was processed and released by the Brookfield Police Department.
Macon County
Macon County law enforcement booked several individuals last week. Bethany C. Duckworth, 50, of Macon, was cited on August 15 for DWI and careless and imprudent driving. Tyler J. Smoot, 19, was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, minor in possession of alcohol, and speeding. Allan J. Coe, 21, of New Cambria, faced a first-offense DWI and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash. Tyler Smoot and Coe were released from Macon County Jail following processing. Nana Kwadjo A. Oppong, 29, of Chicago, IL, was cited on August 3 for a first-offense DWI and speeding.
Randolph County
Randolph County officers cited and arrested multiple individuals last week. Chrystal L. Shimek, 41, of New Cambria, faced numerous felony charges including resisting arrest, driving while revoked, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, exceeding the posted speed limit by 26 or more miles per hour, and seat belt violations. Shimek also had Macon County warrants for failure to appear on nonsupport and traffic offenses, and she was held at the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office for 24 hours. Norberto M. Vazquez, 29, of Columbia, was booked for driving without a valid license and speeding. Ashley L. Horton, 40, of Monroe City, was cited for driving while suspended. Sarah D. Barrett, 40, of Moberly, faced charges for driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain financial responsibility, and following too closely; she was held for a 12-hour period.
Howard County
In Howard County, James H. Wright, 45, of Franklin, was arrested on August 15 for a felony probation violation related to third-degree assault and driving while revoked or suspended. He was held at the Howard County Jail on bondable charges.
Saline County
Saline County deputies arrested several individuals last week. Bradley S. Lorenzen, 45, of Corryton, TN, was cited on August 14 for driving while intoxicated, lane violations, and following too closely, and held for a 12-hour period. Cody D. Goff, 34, of Marshall, was booked on August 9 for felony resisting arrest by fleeing and failing to obey a traffic control device. Jacob N. Gustafson, 19, of Olathe, KS, faced felony money laundering charges.
Livingston County
Livingston County law enforcement cited Robert W. Shoe, 25, of Des Moines, IA, on August 17 for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in an accident. AJ M. Rainey, 22, of Jamesport, was booked on August 10 for DWI and careless and imprudent driving involving a crash, released for medical treatment.
Boone County
Boone County continued to see the highest number of arrests and citations last week. Zackary T. Moore, 28, of Columbia, was cited on August 19 for DWI and failing to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash. Maheeb G. Ali, 28, of Boonville, was taken into custody on a Cooper County misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear on a speeding citation. Dydreonte J. Buchanan, 25, of Columbia, faced a misdemeanor Columbia PD warrant for failing to register his motor vehicle and for a crash-related traffic violation.
Other Boone County individuals cited or booked included David D. Bennett, Angela M. Sloop, Eduardo Garcia-Perez, Ricky J. Robertson, Nathan R. Stone, Marteze D. Coleman, Mahira S. Cary, Peyton N. Parrotte, Addison T. Haller, Cheyenne L. Parker, Andres Jimenez Peres, Ryan J. Perry, Chad R. Jacobs, and Michael J. Voss. Many were released on summons or to sober drivers, while others were held in the Boone County Jail or at the Columbia Police Department.
Ray County
Ray County officers addressed several cases last week, mostly related to DWI and drug offenses. Buddy L. Webster, 25, of Lexington, was cited on a Clay County misdemeanor warrant. Nicolas S. Jenkins, 36, of Richmond, was arrested for DWI. Margaret F. Stockton, 61, of Camden, faced felony possession of methamphetamine, speeding, and prior drug-related offenses. Joseph D. Hughes, 54, of Kansas City, was booked for possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of paraphernalia, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in an accident, and no insurance. Willard F. Ridenour, 53, of Richmond, was cited for felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failing to drive on the right half of the roadway.
Pettis County
In Pettis County, Bret A. Thompson, 21, of New Franklin, was booked for felony DWI and driving while revoked. Kaleb S. Dove, 31, of Green Ridge, faced felony driving while revoked. Two Lincoln residents, Jonathan Burdette, 46, and Devin Burdette, 18, were cited for third-degree assault, with Jonathan also cited for misdemeanor resisting arrest.
Sullivan County
Sullivan County reported a single arrest last week. Andrew D. Booth, 43, of Milan, was cited for DWI on August 10 and released.
