Cassie Jo (Hyden) Schnittker, 42, of Lexington, Missouri passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, at CenterPoint Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Lexington United Methodist Church, 1211 S. Business Hwy 13, Lexington, Missouri 64067. A Funeral Service will follow at the church. Interment will take place at Machpelah Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Connie Fidler. Cassie was born on July 10, 1983, in Lexington, Missouri to Ward Dittmer and Connie (Roberts) Hyden-Fidler. In 2002, she graduated from Student Success Center. Following her graduation from high school, Cassie went on to obtain her Medical Technician Certification, showcasing her dedication to caring for others. She dedicated herself to nurturing and caring for others, especially the children she babysat throughout her life. Cassie loved bright colors, and it was a reflection of her life. She enjoyed the thrill of listening to murder mysteries, the tranquility of fishing, the joy of camping, and her fondness for all things frogs. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending quality time with her family and friends
Cassie is survived by her Fiancé, Nicholas Goetz of Lexington, MO; four children, James Thomas Schnittker III of Lexington, MO, Oliver Schnittker of Lexington, MO, Kayden Schnittker of Lexington, MO, and Alex Schnittker of Lexington, MO; her mother, Connie Hyden-Fidler and step-father, Everett Fidler of Higginsville MO; two brothers, Brandon (Stacy) Hyden of Blue Springs, MO and Noah Fidler of Higginsville, MO; one sister, Annie (Andrew) Palmer of Kearny, MO, and her twin sister, Katie (Michael) Schreiman of Waverly, MO, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Cassie was preceded in death by her father, Ward Dittmer; maternal grandparents, Delbert and Lera (Sally) Roberts; paternal grandparents, Willard and Catherine Dittmer and step grandparents, James and Susette Fidler.
