A Whtie House spokesperson told Fox News, “President Trump isn’t proposing an increase in student visas for Chinese students. The 600k references two years worth of visas. It’s simply a continuation of existing policy.” Still, many of the President’s supporters are concerned about this plan to allow so many Chinese nationals, many of whom may be spies, to come in and take opportunities away from American citizens.
