Governor Kathy Hochul spoke to members of True Bethel Baptist Church in Western New York over the weekend, and the Democrat leader of the state is receiving harsh criticism for her racially charged comments. Peppered into the speech, billed as “Discussing the State of America,” were inflammatory remarks that serve as the latest example of Hocul’s racial insensitivity. While discussing tax credits for families with young children and state tax rebate checks, Hochul told the predominantly African American audience, “Checks are coming out soon….watch the mail, okay?” “Okay?
