Far-left feminist website Jezebel added an editor’s note to an article where they bragged about paying Etsy witches to place curses on conservative activist Charlie Kirk, just two days before he was assassinated at a Turning Point USA event. The original piece, published on Monday, detailed how the outlet hired online spellcasters to hex Kirk over his criticisms of modern feminism and women’s independence. The article, bylined initially to writer Claire Guinan but later changed to simply “Jezebel,” was titled “We Paid Some Etsy Witches to Curse Charlie Kirk.” In it, the author lambasted Kirk as a “far-right misogynist with a bad haircut” who promotes “regressive rhetoric” and idealizes the 1950s for women.
