Scott Alan Davis “Scotty”, 68, of Lexington, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, at his residence.
A Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Lexington United Methodist Church, 1211 S. Business Hwy 13. Lexington MO, 64067. Scotty was born on March 23, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri to Wilburn Raymond and Shirley Louise (Abbott) Davis. A proud graduate of Lexington High School in 1975, Scott pursued higher education at the University of Central Missouri, earning a bachelor’s degree in construction management. On May 14, 1988, Scotty was united in marriage to Barbara (Baldwin) Davis in Oak Grove, Missouri. His passion for building and working with his hands led him to carry on the family business Davis Concrete Construction, where he dedicated himself to his craft and the satisfaction of his clients. Beyond his professional achievements, Scotty found happiness in the great outdoors. He enjoyed mushroom, deer and turkey hunting, fishing and playing horseshoes. But most of all cherished every moment with his family.
Scotty is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Davis of the home; two children, Anne
Chatman (Brian Lambrecht) of Independence, MO and Haylee (Brad) Cooley of Lee’s Summit; three grandchildren, Brooks Chatman of Columbia, MO, Elladee Cooley of Lee’s Summit, MO and Cambree Cooley of Lee’s Summit, MO; two sisters, Vickie (Mike) Wallace of Punta Gorde, FL and Terry Bryant (Lawrence Resz) of Lexington, MO; mother-in-law, Rosemary Baldwin of Oak Grove, MO; brothers-in law, Roger (Delana) Baldwin of Osceola, MO and Bobby (Renee) Baldwin of Oak Grove, MO; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Scotty was preceded in death by both his parents; father-in-law, Boone Baldwin; and brother-in-law, Darrell Baldwin.
