The US Attorney from the Eastern District of Virginia, who is under fire for not charging Letitia James, is resigning. Earlier Friday it was reported that President Trump was gearing up to fire the US Attorney refusing to indict New York Attorney General Letitia James for mortgage fraud. Erik Siebert, the interim US Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, was reportedly unwilling to charge Letitia James amid reports that the DOJ hasn’t gathered enough evidence to bring an indictment.
