Margaret “Diane” Foltz, age 75, a resident of Kearney, Missouri, a former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Westbrook Care Center, Kearney, Missouri.
Diane was born the daughter of Wallace and Juanita (Byram) Fortner on July 15, 1950, in Poinsett County, Arkansas. She was united in marriage to Lee W. Foltz on November 21, 1971, in Blytheville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2013. Diane worked as a dietician for Hedrick Medical Center for many years, as well as Indian Hills. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Chillicothe, Missouri. Diane enjoyed gardening and cooking. She loved her family and looked forward to spending time with them.
Survivors include two sons, David Foltz and wife, Stacy, of Camden, South Carolina, and Rodney Foltz and wife, Allie, of Kearney, Missouri; one daughter, Dana Foltz of Dawn, Missouri; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by six brothers, Ricky, Roger, Danny, Julian, Glenn, and Billy Fortner; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee; and three brothers, Stanley, Sammy, and Clifford Fortner.
Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor’s choice and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
