Tyler Jordan McCurley, age 28, of Brookfield, MO; passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Tyler Jordan was born on January 26, 1997, to Christopher Aaron and Kelly Jean (Miller) McCurley, in Murfreesboro, New Jersey. Tyler was a 2016 graduate of Brookfield High School. After graduation Tyler joined the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Freedom of Road Riders, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching the Green Bay Packers, and singing. He loved playing with his kids; they meant the world to him. Tyler is survived by his three children, Hayden Lee McCurley, Lyla Mae McCurley, and Vaeda Gabrielle McCurley all of Brookfield, MO; parents, Christopher (Jacine) McCurley of Chillicothe, MO; and Kelly (Brandon) Parker of Saint Joseph, MO; four siblings, Cale (Cheyanne) McCurley of Excelsior Springs, MO; Nancy (Jesse) Marshall of Chillicothe, MO; Derrick (Amber) McCurley of Higbee, MO; and Ethan (Aubree) Plunkett of Vandalia, MO; grandma, “Skeeter”; and several other relatives. He was preceded in death by his other three grandparents. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Tyler’s life will be held at 12:00 pm. Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Higginsville Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO; with David Blakely officiating and with full Military Honors. Arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO.
