White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, during a recent podcast appearance, said that President Trump still wants to see the Senate filibuster become a relic.  Pointing to his accomplishments so far during Trump’s first year in office, Leavitt told Pod Force One host Miranda Devine, “It’s really a moot point, and he wants to see it gone so that he can have the most productive three years of any president ever.” “There’s so much more work to do: Election integrity, voter ID, getting rid of universal mail in ballots.
