President Trump on Tuesday evening issued a warning to James Comey and Letitia James after a judge dismissed their cases. A federal judge on Monday dismissed the criminal cases against James Comey and Letitia James. The case was dismissed without prejudice, which means it is only dismissed temporarily. Judge Cameron McGowan Currie, a Clinton appointee, ruled that US Attorney Lindsey Halligan’s appointment violated the Appointments Clause of the Constitution. The judge also said Attorney General Pam Bondi’s attempt to ratify Halligan’s actions were “ineffective.” Comey did somewhat of a victory lap after the judge’s ruling.
