Virginia “Ginny” Ann Kincaid 78, a resident of Richmond, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at her lifelong family farm. Virginia was born on September 18, 1947, in Parkville, MO, the daughter of James and Joanna (Samborski) Gardner. She married Melvin Kincaid on September 4, 1966, he preceded her in death on March 23, 1993.
She is survived by two sons, Allen Kincaid of Richmond and Aaron (Amy Jo) Kincaid of Richmond; one sister, Carole Gardner of Camden; three grandchildren Zane Evdwards of Lathrop, Colin (Rebecca) Edwards of Warrensburg, and Emily Edwards of Springfield; one great grandson, Daniel Edwards.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Louis Gardner and Bob Gardner, and one sister, Mary Ann Harrison.
Virginia graduated from Lawson High School and later began her career with S & K Manufacturing, where she worked faithfully until her retirement. She was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved-her sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many family members and friends who were blessed to know her.
Virginia found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time at the farm, tending to her garden and flowers, taking long walks, fishing, and simply being outdoors enjoying the beauty of nature. Some of her fondest memories were made on outings with her sister, Carole, with whom she shared a special bond.
Virginia never met a stranger. Her warm heart, easy conversation, and genuine kindness made her beloved by all who crossed her path. She touched countless lives with her love, and she will be deeply missed.
