The North Atlantic Treaty Alliance (NATO) has just provided us with an unwelcome flash-back to the darkest days of the cold war. According to one of its most senior military leaders, the alliance is considering ‘more aggressive measures against Russia’. The measure is said to be against their ‘escalating hybrid war against the West’.
