Margaret “Peggy” Lynne Brovey, 65, of Marshall, MO, died Friday, November 28, 2025, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.
Memorial Prayer Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Fr. Francis Doyle officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Born October 25, 1960, in Marshall, MO, Peggy was the daughter of the late James Leonard Newton and Janet Lucille (Hagedorn) Newton. She worked for the Marshall Police Department for 15 years and several years as an auxiliary worker. Peggy loved being outdoors and sitting on her porch, and she loved being with her grandkids and family.
Survivors include her children, Michael Brovey (Erin) of St. Louis, MO, and Kimberly Ferrell (Josh) of St. Joseph, MO; four grandchildren: Garret Ferrell, Devyn Ferrell, John Brovey and Everett Brovey; one sister, Christie Newton of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Leonard Keith Newton.
