Robert Wendal Armour, 80, of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Life Care Center in Carrollton.
Robert was born on October 10, 1945, in Carrollton, the son of Wendal Lee and Mary Katherine (Pennington) Armour.
Survivors include: cousins: Debbi (Garry) Shannon, Mark (Coleen) Pearson, Sandy (Arlyn) Burns, and Keeven (Vicki) Buhrmeister.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Robert was raised in the area of his birth, spending his life surrounded by the constant love and devoted care of his family. Despite the health challenges he faced from birth, Robert found joy in many simple and meaningful things. He loved music of all kinds, was fascinated by fire trucks and trains, and looked forward each year to seeing Santa Claus and watching parades. A Happy Meal was always sure to bring a smile to his face.
Robert’s gentle spirit and the happiness he brought to those around him will be dearly missed by the many family members, caregivers, and friends who lovingly supported him throughout his life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Lavelock Cemetery. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
