Omar Lee Bredehoeft, 79, of Concordia, MO, died Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Concordia with Pastor Michael Pottschmidt officiating. No visitation will be held. Born July 10, 1946, in Higginsville, MO, he was the son of the late Ralph Martin Bredehoeft and Laura Emily (Bokelman) Bredehoeft. He worked for over 42 years at Action Products in Odessa, MO. Omar was of the Lutheran faith, an avid Chiefs and Royals fan, and he had a passion for bowling. Omar and Gracie spent over 34 years together raising their family, and he loved his wife, kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Gracie, of the home; two stepchildren, Kevin D. Hall (Marvelee) of Hinesville, GA, and Darla R. Morgan (Robert) Earleton, FL.; 13 step-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; one brother, Wilmer Bredehoeft of Concordia, MO; two sisters, Ruth Deatherage of Concordia, MO, and Betty Lou Hurd of Higginsville, MO.
In addition to his parents, Omar was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and Harold Bredehoeft; one sister, Lila Jane Alpers; and two stepsons, Jerry Dale Conway Jr, and James Douglas Conway.
