Betty Sue Brown, 87, of Columbia, MO, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at The Bluffs Senior Living Facility in Columbia.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2025, at Arrow Rock Cemetery. No visitation will be held. Memorials are suggested to Saline Animal League or to an animal rescue shelter of the donor’s choice. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com
Born July 9, 1938, in Blackwater, MO, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Fritz and Lorene Kammeyer Fritz. Betty was a graduate of Boonville High School and spent most of her adult life in Columbia where she retired from the Columbia Police Department.
Survivors include two sisters, Mary Postle and Becky Fresia (Tony); one brother, Bob Fritz (Donna); several nephews and great nephews; one great niece; and three special friends, Terri Mielke, Linda McBride and Melody English.
