On January 16th, Act for Missouri’s Michael Compton and Amy Castro will share their story of how two former entrepreneurs and academics were driven into grassroots politics after the heavy-handed COVID-19 shutdowns destroyed their livelihoods. In this talk, they will introduce Act for Missouri, explain how the group started, what they’ve learned along the way, and why it is every citizen’s responsibility to be actively engaged in government. Attendees can expect to hear practical ways to get involved, why strong constitutional principles matter, and how ordinary Missourians can push back against big-government overreach to preserve liberty in our state.

We will focus primarily on ways people can get involved and we will talk about questions they should ask candidates and current officeholders.
