A woman from Minnesota was killed by a shark on Thursday while vacationing in the US Virgin Islands after an attack that severed one of her arms. 56-year-old Arlene Lillis died at the scene of the attack, according to the US Virgin Island Police Department. Numerous people dialed 911 around 4:30 pm and reported a woman attacked by a shark. The attack occurred at Dorcsh Beach, located on the island of St. Croix.
