Orvil Ray Davidson, 83, of Pattonsburg, Missouri, died Friday, January 9, 2026, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. The family will host a memorial graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1801 S. Odell Ave., Marshall, Missouri, 65340. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to Church of Christ in Bethany, Missouri, in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com Born August 20, 1942, in Gamaliel, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Floyd Ray Davidson and Elsie Mae Gibson Davidson. Orvil was a graduate of Bakersfield High School in Bakersfield, Missouri. On October 16, 1978, he was married to Connie Lee Brown who survives of the home. His career was spent as a truck driver, and was a member of the Teamster’s Union, for over 30 years. Orvil was a member of Church of Christ in Bethany, Missouri. In addition to his wife, Connie; he is survived by one son, Alan Davidson (Melanie) of Kansas City; one daughter, Vickie Diebold of Liberty; daughter-in-law, Diane Davidson of Gladstone; five grandchildren: Drew Davidson, Cara Barnett (Tim), Kenneth Lett (Tiffany), Ryan Davidson and Jessica Davidson; four greatgrandchildren; two brothers, Jim Davidson (Connie) of West Plains and Larry Davidson (Kathy) of Springfield; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Orvil was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Larry Lee Davidson; one granddaughter, Latesha Mouser; an older brother in infancy, Noble Ray Davidson; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Curtis and Lucille Brown.
