House Oversight Chairman James Comer on Tuesday announced lawmakers will initiate contempt of Congress proceedings against Bill Clinton after he defied a subpoena to testify in the Epstein investigation. Former President Bill Clinton was scheduled to appear for a closed-door deposition on Tuesday. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was set to appear for a closed-door deposition on Wednesday. Bill Clinton was a no-show on Tuesday. The Clintons claimed they already provided the Committee with all of the information they have on Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
