Kaja Kallas, the EU’s top diplomat, is facing growing criticism for her perceived incompetence and aggressive diplomatic style – often described as acting like a national prime minister rather than a consensus-building diplomat. She is rightfully as ‘overly hawkish’ on Russia, obsessing over Moscow at the expense of other pressing global issues. Her overgrown Russian hatred is even more troublesome because of the scandal of her husband’s business ties to Russia during the war.
