President Trump on Friday confirmed to reporters that he no longer plans to strike Iran after the regime canceled the planned execution of protesters. Trump has repeatedly threatened to utilize the US military to free the people of Iran. However, on Thursday, Trump told reporters he had been notified that executions of protesters had been canceled and suggested that military action may be off the table. “We’ve been told that the killing in Iran is stopping,” Trump told reporters, later revealing that “very important sources on the other side” informed the US of this.
